Welcome

Welcome to the second edition of our WDSP e-bulletin. The last couple of months have been a really busy time for WDSP as you will see. If you have any items to include in the next e-bulletin, please email Antonia Perkins, LSP Manager. Please forward this bulletin to anyone you think might be interested.

Success for WDSP action planning event

The WDSP event, ‘From Talk to Action’ was a huge success, so many thanks to those of you who attended. To find out more about how the day went and to see what new actions for the Community Strategy came out of the day, take a look at the WDSP website.

New look WDSP

The action planning event kicked off the WDSP’s focus on action and to support this, a new structure for the partnership has been launched. This brand new structure will allow us to focus on what really matters – delivering the five key outcomes that are identified in the Community Strategy. The WDSP Board has been altered to form five outcome groups, responsible for reviewing progress towards the outcomes. To find out more about the new structure take a look at the website.

Partnership boosts rural affordable housing

Help us bid for £200k to spend on play

Children and young people in the Winchester district could benefit from a £200,000 investment through the development of a play strategy.

Winchester City Council has launched a new consultation on its website asking children, teenagers, and adults what they think of current play provision and what should be done to improve opportunities. To find out more about the strategy and to take part in the consultation, see the City Council website.
